All private billings are payable on the day of consultation, including gap payments. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. There is a EFTPOS FEE on all transactions.
Medicare rebates can be claimed immediately by MA online or from any Medicare branch following payment at the clinic.
Lister House Medical Clinic is pleased to offer Medicare Easyclaim, where the Medicare rebate is paid back into the patient’s account almost immediately.
Veteran’s Affairs, Pension and Health Care Card holders are expected to be bulk-billed, but is up to the doctor’s discretion. Children 16 years of age and under, are expected to be bulk-billed, but it is up to the individual doctor.
